Our Hygienist Team
Erica
Our hygiene team leader Erica moved to Lansing area from Washington DC and joined our team in 2013. She received her dental hygiene training from Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2008 and received an Outstanding Clinician Award at her graduation. She holds licensure as a registered dental hygienist in 3 states and is certified in local anesthesia administration. Erica is energetic and enjoys getting to know her patients. Her favorite part of her work is educating patients on their overall oral health and dedicates her career to the field of periodontics and periodontal therapy. In her free time, Erica travels with her young family and hosts wonderful house parties. She and her family are members of the New Hope Church of Haslett. Fun Fact: While working in DC, Erica had an opportunity to attend the Presidential White House Christmas Party in 2010.
May
May received her training from Lansing Community College in 2006. After 7 years of practicing in a pediatric dental practice in Maryland, May and her family moved back to Michigan to join our team in 2015. Her kind mannerism is soothing to patients whom might find a dental visit daunting. May’s favorite part about working is connecting our team with the patients. She sees our patients as part of her work family and looks forward to seeing them at each visit. May loves working with wide range of patients. Her experience as a mother of two and in pediatric care, however, especially allows May to deliver her hygiene recommendation effectively to her young patients. Her hobbies include photography and scrapbooking. Fun Fact: Born and raised in North Carolina, May is one of seven children. No wonder she is so great with the little ones!
Sadie (Say-Dee)
Sadie received her dental hygiene training from Kellogg Community College in 2014 and joined our team in 2015. She has certifications in administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide and is a registered dental hygienist. Sadie developed interest in periodontal disease and how oral health affects general health. As her proficiency in hygiene skills and periodontal therapy accelerates, she quickly wins over our patients with her earnest nature. She truly enjoys putting a smile on her patient’s face. In her free time, Sadie likes being active and working out to stay healthy. Fun Fact: In 6th grade, Sadie made a time capsule and when she opened it years later, it was revealed that she had wanted to become a dental hygienist. Looks like she has always had a love for teeth!
Ann
Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000 from Lansing Community College, Ann is a state certified registered dental hygienist. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best oral health in the Lansing area for over 17 years and had joined our team in 2016. She especially enjoys working with children, yet her dry sense of humor also attracts many adult and teen patients as they chuckle throughout the visit. Ann loves helping her patients easing their fears and making their dental visit as enjoyable as possible. When not working, She takes pleasure in cooking, learning about health and wellness, and working out. She is an animal lover and enjoys seeking adventure through traveling. Fun Fact: Ann is a certified health coach from The State University Of New York. She also had participated in a U.S. Vice Presidential Motorcade as a volunteer driver.
Molly
Molly grew up in Grand Rapids and completed her training from Ferris State University in 2013. She is a registered dental hygienist and is certified in both local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Molly has worked in Grand Rapids and Mount Pleasant area before joining our team in 2016. She particularly takes pride in creating a non-judgment, carefree experience for her patients with her energetic, approachable character. In her free time, Molly and her husband enjoy outdoor activities and have explored many campgrounds throughout Michigan. She is also an avid Spartans basketball fan and enjoys volunteering for medical and dental fairs. Fun Fact: Molly has three cats and used to work at Gordon Food Service throughout high school and college.
Amber
Amber completed her dental hygiene training from Ferris State University in 2012 and is certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and laser administration. Having worked in Howell, Amber joined our team in 2016 and quickly became one of the hygiene team leaders. She puts a strong emphasis on creating a dental family for patients and helping those afflicted with dental fear to have a better experience. She continues to raise the standard of care with her meticulous touch. Amber’s enthusiasm and infectious laugh create a fun, lively time for our patients, allowing for a more relaxing time in a dental chair. She enjoys attending sporting events and watching movies in her free times. Fun Fact: Amber is dedicated Detroit Tigers fan and is an amateur make-up artist
Becky
Becky has worked in Washington DC for over 7 years before moving back to the Lansing area and recently joined our team in early 2017. Growing up in Cadillac, she completed her training from Ferris State University in 2006 and is a registered dental hygienist. Becky has a strong interest in periodontics and she is always looking for ways to increase periodontal health for our patients. Like many of our hygienists, she is fascinated with the connection of periodontal (gum) health and the general health such as in diabetics. Becky strives to provide a holistic care to patients with her diligence, and to make every patient feel at ease with her sweet, approachable mannerism. Fun Fact: She is a volleyball player.
Brianna
Growing up in Irvine, CA, Brianna came to Michigan for college and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in 2011. She went on to complete her dental hygiene training from Lansing Community College in 2016 and joined our team in early 2017. Brianna’s easy-going personality creates a relaxing environment without force. Patients are becoming comfortable with her gentle, thorough touch. We are excited to see her journey as a dental hygienist flourish. She runs long distance in her free time and enjoys traveling up north such as Traverse City in the summer. She is a member of Mount Hope Church. Fun Fact: Brianna played softball at college level and remains active in softball world by partaking in co-ed games locally.
