As a first-time patient, I had a really positive experience at this dental office. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was welcoming, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. I was a little nervous since it was my first visit, but they made me feel comfortable right away.
The dental assistant and dentist were both very professional and took the time to explain everything they were doing. They answered all of my questions without rushing me, which I really appreciated. The exam was thorough, and they made sure I understood my dental health and any next steps.
The office itself was clean, organized, and had a calm atmosphere, which helped ease my nerves. Overall, I felt well taken care of and respected as a patient. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist, especially if you’re a first-timer like me.

Going to the dentist even for a routine cleaning, isn’t my ideal way to start a day but I had another great experience at Schaefer Dental this a.m. I had a new hygienist, to me today, and she did a great job and kept me relaxed and explained what she was doing during each step of the cleaning process.
"My family and I have been a patients for several years. The front staff is always friendly and helpful. They are so knowledgeable in insurance and make sure you understand how things are billed. The hygienists and dentist are really great too. Gentle and compassionate. They have appointments down to a science. So efficient!"
"I got scheduled very quickly (within a week!) for a crown replacement and the dentist took his time making sure the fit was just right and answering all my questions. The hygienist was kind and friendly, and the facility was comfortable and clean (W Lansing location). Very pleased to have found a new dental practice that I already feel comfortable with."
